Although my friends do know we're basically unschooling and we don't vax (though they aren't all - or even mostly - natural moms, they are open to the ideas). I also don't want to send my kids to college, and expect that by the time they're ready, they'll be able to learn anything they need on the internet. I don't feel a college education is a necessity at all, and I think that the majority of people who get one (including myself) don't use it for future careers. I think for most, the social aspect of it is what's most important in the long run. But who needs to pay $1000s for that? :D And I also am making my kids hold off until they're 18 before they can start driving. I'm hoping that by the time my oldest is 16, it will already be the law here. It makes no sense for kids who aren't mature enough to be wielding a huge machine and doing *what they do* for fun! In Europe kids can't get their licenses until they're 18 and it's expensive to go through the process and a difficult test; let the US government learn from them. :D Thanks so much for participating; you ARE interesting!!!
