I love the feel of these cool autumn mornings, don’t you? Really looking forward to all the goodies this season has to offer: kids rolling in piles of leaves, trips to the mountains to see the changing colors, hot beverages, soups and stews. Cardigans and jeans.
I’m signing off for the weekend, but before I do, I thought I would leave you with some of my favorite reads this week:
I can’t believe how easy and delicious these sliced baked potatoes were. I served them for dinner last night.
You can get a free cup of coffee at Starbucks, Caribou and a few other places Sunday for National Coffee Day!
I wrote on my other blog about giving your voices the silent treatment.
Another wonderful, wonderful article from Leila at OurMothersDaughters about whiners. Read the articles she links to within also!
Why it’s so hard to swat a fly: small animals experience time differently than you. Fascinating!
If you struggle to teach your kids about art as I do, here is a wonderful blog that may help: Art History Mom
Favorite Tweet of the week from user @jawar:
“We’ve been conditioned not to praise our God in public, but have no problem promoting our favorite sports team what a shame. God Help Us!”
And finally, get your Kleenex ready. Dying father walks his daughters down the aisle.
