Holistic: A Definition

  1. Emphasizing the importance of the whole and the interdependence of its parts.
  2. Concerned with wholes rather than analysis or separation into parts: holistic medicine; holistic ecology.

When I first learned about Holistic Moms Network, an acquaintance had invited me to come because she had formed a group in my state. I was excited to learn that there was a group providing ongoing support to parents who wished to lead simpler lives.
