To Buy or Not to Buy Organic
Description: A keep by your side guide to how healthy our foods are. Goes into great detail about organic foods including which are safe and which are not, how to decide if organic is the way to go and what all these organic terms mean.
Review: Ok I’ll admit I’m thinking about jumping on the organic bandwagon. I have heard so much about how much healthier these types of foods are. That they contain no preservatives and aren’t grown with herbicides is starting to sound pretty good to me. But where in the world do I go to find out what is organic, where to find organic and what all these organic terms means. This book is where I went.
I can’t believe all the information I found in this book. It is filled with just about anything I would want to know about organic foods. It is simple to understand because so much of this organic stuff is explained right in the book.
I really like the shopping guide. It gave me the information I needed to know where to find the right organic foods and how to tell if they are really organic or not. I also like the chapter about the foods that you should never eat unless they are organic. It went into great detail about why these foods are better if organic grown. It also talks about the foods that never seem to test badly for herbicides and lists them so you can feel safe when purchasing them.
I keep this book with me all the time in my purse. I want to know if what I’m buying and fixing to eat is healthy or not. I haven’t gone completely organic but I have started making wiser choices with my food. This book has helped me to find a balance and keep my faith that I’m eating the very best I can eat.
