ToT: 10 Things I’d Bring On a Deserted Island

This week’s Ten on Tuesday asks what 10 items you would want to bring on a deserted island.

Here goes:

  1. My kids. I don’t know if that counts as 1, or 4. :-)
  2. My Bible.
  3. Lip balm. I’m sure I could make my own beauty products using whatever’s lying around, but I’m a real lip balm addict.
  4. A very large knife.
  5. Paper
  6. A supply of pencils – a girl’s got to document her thoughts, y’know? And I’m assuming this island has no wi-fi so, no blogging.
  7. A wide toothed comb so my hair doesn’t get TOO tangled from all that salt water.
  8. Some really cool sunglasses.
  9. Tweezers for my eyebrows.
  10. chris-martin-20080423-403425

A girl can dream, can’t she?

And if the kids count as 4 things, then skip items 3-6.)

#1 (not necessarily in this order) Box of Champagne
    #2 Another box of Champagne
    #3 Nice Champagne glass (crystal)
#4 Coconut oil mostly to sniff. Such a good Deserted Is. smell
#5 Nice rug to lie on for picnicking when I catch the odd bit of seafood.
    #6 fishing rod
    #7 Box of Champagne
    #8, 9 & 10 same as no’s 1, 2,& 7. LOL.

I hardly ever drink, so those boxes will last a l-o-n-g time.
