Natural Moms Talk Radio Is So Going To Be Late

February 10, 2009

The show is so going to be late this week.

I’m sorry, but I just now finished up going through and checking out all the new Twitter followers that came as a result of Blissdom.

I still have to go back and check out some of their cool blogs.

I want to say a quick hello to my new friends.

Like Julie, my second night roommate. You are an inspiration (Julie lost 60 pounds using Wii Fit and now helps other moms do the same.) I will never think of Fun Dip the same way again honey. It’s awesome to find a woman who is so unabashedly in love with her husband.I may email you for advice in a year or so. ;)

Also, I want to thank Jessica (Jessica Knows) for endearing me to her completely, in less than 30 seconds of meeting. You were totally worth missing out on that hot singer guy. (Besides, I only have eyes for Chris Martin.)

And Annabeth Gish I mean Bargain Briana, our other roomie. My oldest is always making fun of me for being a cheap momma, but girl you own it. Awesome!

To my driving buddy Renee of Cutie Booty Cakes, I so enjoyed our chats, especially on the way back. Some people talk too much when they drink, but in my case it’s caffeine that loosens my lips. LOL! I also crave more diversity in the mom bloggers arena. Let’s get to work on that.

Sarah, you’re not the only one who is a little sheltered. For reals. But we had too much fun being spectators, didn’t we? :)

Amanda, oh momma, we will chat more about that. Let’s hear it for Atlanta area mom bloggers! (I used to live right next to Marietta, in Dallas.)

And in case you’re wondering, Stephanie of Adventures in Babywearing is absolutely as sweet and cute and adorable as you imagine her to be. Only shorter (I don’t know why I imagined her as tall?).

To Mary and Sarah, you two are just the cutest things, ever. Sarah you especially reminded me of myself, having 4 babies like stairsteps but somehow not losing your marbles. Does everyone say you look too young to have that many too? You made me wish my sister was there.

To Sugar, thanks for making what could have been boring, raw fun. I bet you have that effect everywhere you go, don’t you? :)

To Lucrecer, thanks for almost sharing your Starbucks. It’s the thought that counts! Next time don’t slam it down before I get to it.

Funny bunny slippers on TwitPic
And finally Danielle, for whom I owe the Dancing Queen cutting loose (for that I do have pictures!) to that second Heineken. You would be extraordinary fun to hang with, I can tell. ;) I dedicate this video to you: I Am Extraordinary

If I forgot somebody I connected with this weekend, please forgive me. I’ll remember when I see you Twittering and add you, ok?

More Mentions:

@AllyBSpeakin for being honest about the money
@redneckmommy for being what I could never be, but I love to watch it, and you were so perfect leading that panel. Let’s hear it for prattling on!
@RonisWeigh for the water cooler chats
@foldinglaundry for making me laugh with her twittering
@fussypants for helping me laugh through my divorce
@jessicanturner for being my insomnia buddy
