The at home spa ritual:

Today’s spa rituals are a combination of modern and traditional methods. Spa treatments have been used since the Egyptian period, where Cleopatra would take milk baths to keep her skin soft. Milk baths are still used greatly today and greatly favored by using buttermilk milk to heighten the effect

Today’s basic spa at home ritual includes some basic things.

Cleansing: Allow yourself to take a nice shower that will help to cleanse the body of toxins and prepare your body for the spa experience.

At home a spa treatment is mainly materials and allowing yourself mentally to relax.

Hot bath: A nice hot bath that will allow some basic steam or whatever feels comfortable to you. Will allow the body to speed up the detoxification process

And enable you to relax more. One great method would be to use spa teas, which are able to be held under the running the water while all the herbs and aromas feel the tub. Making the spa journey much more enjoyable

Treatment: Is the next step in the spa at home package, allow yourself to use body polishes, face masks, pumice stones, foot treatments etc.

Rest: Rest is the most essential one and sometimes forgot about, make sure when you plan the ultimate spa treatment at home you do so when you know you will have enough time afterward to meditate by allowing yourself some self-reflection.

Be sure to use some soft tea candles and some soothing music in the background, curl up with a nice book when you’re done!!
