Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock Review

Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock Review
submitted by Esper

I finally found a sunblock that I like to use on my son. My son has darker skin and it seems as though every sunblock out there leaves his skin with a white-ish hue and sticky skin. On top of that, I was worried about what ingredients were going into those lotions. Luckily for me, Neutrogena’s Pure & Free Baby Sunblock derives all of its ingredients from natural sources.

When applying this lotion, it feels very similar to regular sunblock, only a bit lighter. As I applied it to his skin, I noticed that it spread easily and blended quickly. Within a few short minutes, his skin was already clear. In fact, after about 10 minutes, I felt his skin and it wasn’t even greasy or sticky at all! It was soft and moisturized, but felt very natural. I like the smoothness so much I have even used it on myself. We’ve used this sunblock all summer and have not sunburned once, despite our many adventures to the pool. We also both have sensitive skin and have not seen a flare up of eczema or any redness from use of this lotion.

The Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock comes in two forms: as a lotion and as a stick. I have never tried the stick but am interested in purchasing one as it is portable and designed for the face and ears. The lotion comes in a 3.0 bottle and lasts a long way. However, it feels so light after it has absorbed in the skin that it feels like you need more on. It is also waterproof, PABA free, oil free and hypoallergenic.
